One boring day

It's a boring day in the household that houses Seth the Salamence, Tyler the Toxtricity and Stefan the shiny Toxtricity. Tyler is lying on his bed, munching on chips. Stefan is on his computer, watching funny videos. Seth, however, is doing something on his computer as a big surprise for both his Toxtricity friends. He really wants this to be a secret from them, so now that they're distracted, he's able to finish up his surprise on the computer. And after an hour, it's done, and he's ready to tell them the news.

He calls in Stefan and Tyler for what he calls "some regular chitchat."

Seth begins to talk, "Do you remember when I told you guys my time in the Alola region with my trainer?"

Stefan and Tyler both said, "Yeah?"

Seth then ask them, "What's the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Alola?"

"Malasadas," Ty answered without hesitation,

"W-Well... uh... the first thing that comes to my mind is that Tsareena we always see in the wild area. That Pokémon is from the Alola region. Oh and Malasadas because someone wouldn't stop talking about them..." Stefan answered,

"Yeah, I agree with you," Seth told Stefan.

"Why are you talking about the Alola region all the sudden?" Stefan asks.

Seth turns the monitor towards the two Toxtricities, showing a hotel booking website, and the page shows text along the lines of "Thank you for booking 6 days at Hano Grand Resort, hope you'll enjoy your trip!" This made Tyler's eyes widen with excitement, while Stefan is confused.

Seth drops the bombshell: "We're going to Alola for a week. starting tomorrow." This news made Tyler ecstatic and starts to jump around the room, though Stefan starts to feel anxious, which Seth quickly reassures him, "no worries, I know the Alola region in the back of my head so we don't get lost. Besides, if anything, people or pokémon tries to attack you, I'll effortlessly fling them away." Seth then turns to Tyler and ask him, "Can you stop jumping around and listen before you break anything?" Tyler stops, but is still excited, "Alola, the birthplace of Malasadas, I heard that they have flavors that are excusive to Alola, as all we had were a couple of flavors in Galar!" he said. Seth then told both Toxtricities, "If we want to leave for Alola early, pack your bags today, then we'll be ready for tomorrow!"

And so everyone packed their baggages, readying themselves for the Adventure in the Alola region.

Waiting for tomorrow to come.

Alola to new vacation

Stefan is sleeping soundly, but is prematurely woken up by Tyler who shakes him awake. He had also shook Seth early awake as well. Tyler is still excited about the trip. After everyone, or at the very least, Seth and Stefan are fully awake and had breakfast, everyone is ready to leave home and go to Alola. But how would they go to Alola? By plane? Nope. By Seth himself. Yep. Tyler and Stefan got on Seth, along with everyone's luggage and both flew to the Alola region.

The flight lasted a while, and it's starting to go in the afternoon. After a while of flying, they encounter a group of four islands, with a weird building in the ocean. This is the Alola region. Tyler is fascinated by the region, while Stefan don't know what to think. Seth goes to the middle right island, which is Akala Island, into Heahea City, in front of the Hano Grand Resort.

Landing in front of Hano Grand Resort, Tyler and Stefan got off of Seth. "Alola to the Alola region," Seth told them. "That's how they greet others in this region?" Stefan asks, "Yeah, to them, Alola means Hello, although it also means Good-bye," Seth answers. "Where's the Malasada shop?" Tyler asks, "Don't worry, I'll take you on a tour around the entire region. This is why I booked a week, so we could take our time exploring it, especially since it's your first time here." Then the gang walked in the resort's lobby, passing by a Bellhop that greets them by saying "Alola!" while moving both hands in a half circle outwards. This is the Alola greeting, as Seth points out to Tyler and Stefan, and they both greeted him with "Alola" while perfectly mimicing the hand motion.

In the lobby, they walked directly to the front desk, where the clerk told, "Ah, it's the Salamence of our first Champion! You booked for 6 nights?" Seth answered, "Yep, and these are my friends, two Toxtricities, which are a Pokémon species native to the Galar region," The clerk tells, "Ah, we're also seeing some Galar Pokémon that are migrating here recently. They're rare in Alola, but hey, it's a start," Seth then said, "Oh, that's interesting to hear," then the clerk hands them their card keys while saying "Anyways, your room number and floor are written on these, enjoy your stay!"

The gang went to the floor written on the cards via the elevator and located their room. It's a big room with two beds, though Tyler and Stefan agrees to share a bed. Though all they did in the room is putting their luggage on their beds, because they do the first logical thing anyone would do in a hotel: go to the pool, though they do bring their towels of course. The pool is massive, but Stefan is hesitant to advance because of the crowd, especially since most of them are staring at him because they never saw a Toxtricity before, but as he starts to walk back to the entrance, Tyler got in and carried him into the pool. Eventually, Stefan feels better as everyone in and outside the pool is friendly. The gang enjoyed their time at the pool, staying for about an hour and a half before getting out to dry.

The rest of the day has been great for everyone. In the evening, they've decided to have dinner in the hotel's restaurant. While Stefan prefers to stay in the room and asks them to order food for him, Tyler once again drags him in the restaurant. But other than that, everyone had a great day and are ready to explore the Alola region, one island per day.

Marching onto Melemele Island

After having breakfast, the gang walked from the hotel all the way at the other side of Heahea city to reach the ferry terminal and traveled to Melemele Island. Seth could take them, but everyone decided that it would be interesting to take a boat. Though to reach Melemele Island, they take the boat to Hau'oli City. An hour later, the gang are now in Melemele Island, specifically, Hau'oli City, and its ferry terminal has yellow flowers. And Tyler finally sees what he's trying to look for: a Malasada shop, and quickly rushed to the shop. "Oh dear..." Stefan told to Seth, "Yeah, let's move on, hopefully he'll find us," Seth told him, but as they pass the Malasada shop, Tyler burst out the shop and drags Stefan in, much to his dismay. This Malasada shop sells pink sweet Malasadas. Tyler bought 5 of them. Two for him to eat straight away, one for Stefan and two more for when they return to the hotel. The Sweet Malasada lives up to its name: it's very sweet. Stefan, even though he's not as mad for malasadas as Ty is, actually enjoyed it. Though Stefan didn't finished his malasada halfway before Ty already ate his two.

Getting out of the Malasada shop, Seth guides the two Toxtricities to the Alola Tourist Bureau, where a bunch of information about the Alola region, such as the official colors of each island, the culture, food, and even legends which ties to land spirits called Tapus. Upon reading about the tapus, Stefan asks Seth, "Hey, didn't our trainer got all the Tapus?" to which Seth replied, "Yes, but there has been a new set of identical Tapus to guard each island."

After the brief stay at the the info center, they briefly enter the Hau'oli mall, but Seth told them, "Yeah, last time I was here, there's nothing to do, and I fear that there's still nothing to do. Let's move on," with the two Toxtricities agreeing, since there's a clothing shop and what looked like a food court. They all move on and trek onto route 2, passing by a cemetary, a motel, a house and an area called "The Berry Fields," until they reach a cave with two traditional pillars called "Verdant Cavern - Designated trial site for the island challenge." Tyler got interested, saying, "Island Challenge? Trial? What's that about?" The gang then enter the cavern as Seth talks about the island challenge,

"The Island Challenge is a lot like the Gym Challenge back in the Galar region, but as you can see, there are no gyms in the region, well except a makeshift one, but it's not part of the Island Challenge. Instead, you battle big versions of Pokémon, not as big as Dynamaxed Pokémon, but they're noticably larger. These are called 'Totem Pokémon' and when these Pokémon are defeated, the trial is considered complete. However, if you beat all the trials in one island, then you get to battle that island's respective Kahuna, in what's called a 'Grand Trial'. Once you beaten the Kahuna, you go onto the next island and start the cycle all over again, but on that island, until you beat all the trials in Alola. Then you'll be able to challenge the Elite Four like in other Pokémon Leagues and when you become Champion, your island challenge is considered complete. Our trainer completed the Island Challenge a handful of years ago, so we're allowed to visit trial sites as long as you guys are with me."

While Seth was talking about the Island Challenge to the two Toxtricities, Stefan suddenly felt a presence behind him, so he turned around... and asks, "Uh.... S-S-S-Seth.... c-c-c-c-can you p-please l-l-look behind y-y-youuuuu...????" This causes both Seth and Tyler to look behind them and behind them, a giant Gumshoos is right behind them. Tyler is shocked to see this Pokémon, but Seth? He whips his tail right at the Gumshoos and it knocked it out cold. "Oh this? This is the Totem Pokémon I was talking about," Seth said. "I've never seen this Pokémon before," Tyler said, "Yeah, it's a Pokémon that has not yet been migrated to Galar," Seth added.

Exiting Verdant Cavern, the gang trek through Route 3 and ended up in Route 1. They made a half-circle around the island. Seth decided to go right and visits Iki Town. They see a large guy, wearing a yellow coat, blue shirt and white shorts. Seth points him out, "This is the Kahuna of the Melemele Island, Hala." They didn't meet him, but after a short visit, they left Iki Town, they went down Route 1 and pass a nice house. "This house is our trainer's house in Alola. When he decides to visit this region, he would live here." This interested the Toxtricities, but they feel nervous to visit the house. Then, Seth points to another building, close to the ocean, "This is the region professor's house, Professor Kukui, and he loves to study Pokémon Moves," Then he points out the mountain next to it, "And this is Ten Carat Hill, though it's only well known for having a giant crater in it.

The gang then went back to Hau'oli City via Route 1, though not without passing Trainer's School, with Seth simply saying, "This is simply a school for Pokémon Trainers. Nothing to see here." A short walk later, they arrive back in Hau'oli City, completing a full circle around Melemele Island. And with that, the gang went back to the ferry terminal to go back to Hano Grand Resort, where the gang stayed for the rest of the day, having lunch and dinner in the hotel.

Ready for the next day.

Adventure in Akala Island

Like always, the gang woke up and had breakfast in the hotel before getting ready to go to Akala Island. Once everyone got ready to explore Akala Island, Seth guides them towards the ferry terminal, before Stefan asks, "Uh Seth, aren't we already on Akala Island?" to which he replied, "yes, but I prefer to take the same path as our trainer took during his journey here." Seth then guides the Toxtricities on a path right next to the Pokémon Center seemingly towards a blue hotel called "Tide Song Hotel," but then Seth took them to a path before the hotel, which leads to Route 4.

In the middle of Route 4, Seth asks both Toxtricities, "Hey, wanna see something you'd never seen before in Galar?" they both nod, then Seth points a secret path, "Let's go here," he added. On the other end of this path is an opening with nothing other than a bunch of Pikachus, even a trailer painted to look like Pikachu! This is Pikachu Valley. Tyler and Stefan are surprised to see a place like this. Soon, a handful of Pikachus start to approach the gang. At first, Stefan was nervous if they're going to attack, but they didn't. Tyler starts to stoke all the surrounding Pikachus on their heads, leaving no stones behind. "Wow, all these Pikachus are docile, probably because no one is attacking them," Tyler remarked. Soon, the Pikachus went back in their spots to play, and the gang walked out of Pikachu Valley and continue into Route 4.

They all continued down the path until they landed themselves into an old-fashioned western themed town called Paniola Town. "Apparently, the town is this way because it's themed around the houses of the first settlers of this island," Seth says as they pass through the town. The next area they're in, Paniola Ranch, isn't a traditional route, but it acts like one. Soon, they come across a small building. "This is the Pokémon Nursey of the Alola region, "This is Alola's Pokémon Nursery, the same Pokémon Nurseries you'd see back in Galar."

From here, the path splits into two, but Seth choses the left path, which lead to Route 5, and immedietly entering the route, the path once again splits into two, and once again, Seth goes left. This leads to a popular fishing spot called Brooklet Hill. Seth decides to venture deep within, flying the two Toxtricities over bodies of water to reach the deepest part of the hill, which is a large open body of water. The two Toxtricities decided to explore the are a little bit, but as soon as Tyler steps in the water, suddenly, silhouettes of what seemed to be small fish Pokémon merges together underwater, until they become an enormous blob of a silhouette. This made Stefan's spine go cold.

Then... the silhouette emerges from the water; Totem Wishiwashi in its School form. This induced fear in Stefan, causing him to run towards Tyler to hold onto him tightly, shivering with fear, as the Wishiwashi starts to hone towards the two Toxtricities. Tyler shouts to Stefan, "Stef! Discharge, now!" Stefan hesitates a little bit, but starts to charge up electricity, his electric frills starts glowing brighter, while Tyler does the same. Right when the Wishiwashi is right close to them, Tyler shouts, "Now!" Both Toxtricities unleashed a flare of electricity around them, hitting the Totem Wishiwashi, and thanks to both Toxtricities having high special attack, it knocks the Wishiwashi out cold.

Stefan felt like he's about to pass out because of the sheer feeling of relief he felt. "We did it!" Tyler cried as he hugs Stefan, causing both Toxtricities to fall to the ground. Then Stefan realizes, "Oh no, what about Seth, did we hurt him?" he cried out, then they hear, "I'm fine," they turn to the voice and it's Seth, further away from the area. He knew that both Toxtricities would use Discharge and went a safe distance.

The gang decided to het out of Brooklet Hill and go to the other path after the Pokémon Nursery, which leads to Route 6. The gang sees Hano Grand Resort in the distance, but Seth guides them to another path, which leads to a place called Royal Avenue. Seth guides the two Toxtricities in front of a building, "This is a place where Pokémon Battle Royale takes place. A Pokémon Battle Royale is a battle format that pits 4 Pokémon against each other. Sadly it didn't caught on with the other regions and remained in Alola," Seth says. Tyler seems into the idea, "Could you imagine though? a Dynamax Pokémon Battle Royale? That would really spice up the Galar League," Tyler said, "uh... I think it would be too much... and potentially dangerous," Stefan timidly said.

As the gang turned around, Tyler stops. Stefan asks, "Uh Ty, what's wrong?" he answers, "I spy with my little eye... a Malasada Shop!" and starts to run towards it, with Stefan and Seth following him. Entering the Malasada shop, they see Tyler with ten packs of Malasadas on a table. "Yo Stef, come over here," Tyler told. After Stefan joins Tyler, Ty starts to tell him about the Malasadas he bought, "This shop sells Dry and Sour Malasadas, the dry ones are blue and the sour ones are yellow. Ready to try?" to which Stefan answers, "O-Okay..." They both start to eat a Dry Malasada. Stefan remarks, "Oh, this uh... made my mouth a bit dry..." while Tyler exclaims, "Oh man, this is very tasty!" Once again, Tyler ate two of the Dry Malasadas before Stefan finished half of his. Tyler immediately reached for his two sour malasadas, and ate them both as soon as Stefan finished his other half. "Wanna try a sour one?" Tyler asks, "Uh... I'll save it for when we go back to the hotel," Stefan answers.

The gang got out of the Malasada shop and continued through Royal Avenue, where they encounter a supermarket called Thrifty Megamart. Seth asks, "Even though someone already got Malasadas, do you think that we could get some snacks?" Tyler nods in agreement, while Stefan is hesitant, but Tyler once again drags Stefan in the supermarket, with Seth following. They're greeted by a store clerk who gives them a discount coupon. They all loaded up on snacks, such as chips, lava cookies and drinks, though something caught Tyler's eyes; a tray of sweets called Sinnohan Poffin Assortment, and they looked like small Malasadas. Seth told him, "Ah, these are the local specialty in the Sinnoh region that you haven't tried some, I think we could get a pack or two for you." Then, Seth spots something that caught his eye; a pack of assorted Pokéblocks from Hoenn, and grabbed three packs of them, intended to share with the two Toxtricities and tell them about the other local specialty from his home region of Hoenn. After getting a dozen pack of Super Light Soda Pop, a pack of 6 small bottles of Moomoo Milk, and 2 cases of Mt. Coronet Fresh Water, they payed for everything using the discount coupon and left the store.

After getting out of the store, Seth decided to take all the snacks to the hotel. He told the two Toxtricities to stay as he flew back to the hotel, carrying the snacks and drinks back in the hotel room, before joining his friends back in Royal Avenue. Meanwhile back at Thrifty Megamart, while they're waiting for Seth to come back, Tyler asks, "Isn't the Alola region a very interesting region? The cultures, the Pokémon, the Malasadas?" to which Stefan replied, "Y-Yeah... Alola is... and interesting place." Seth soon came back and the trio continues to trek down the road next to the Megamart which is Route 7.

Immediately next to Route 7 is a volcano, which is called Wela Volcano Park, and according to the sign, it's also a designated trial site for the Island Challenge. Seth decides to fly the two Toxtricities to the top of the volcano and they noticed a trio of Alolan Marowak doing a traditional fire dance. This fascinates Tyler and impressed Stefan. Seth then flew back at the base of the volcano and the trio decides to explore more of the island.

That is until Stefan felt something grabbing him from behind. He emits a short scream which caught the attention of Seth and Tyler. Turns out there's a big Salazzle who seems to be interested in Stefan. This Salazzle is twice as big as a regular Salazzle, which means that it's a Totem Salazzle. Stefan tried his best to get her off, but she still hangs onto the terrified Stefan. "Hehe, looks like this one is really interested into you," Tyler remarked. Seth steps in and removes both of Salazzle's arms off of Stefan and shoved her off of him. Stefan quickly ran behind Seth, while Salazzle gets back on its feet and chases Stefan, who starts running out of the park, though Seth stops her from reaching the shaken Toxtricity, and whips his tail on her, knocking her out.

Seth and Tyler got out of the park to see Stefan, still shaken by what happened. "I-I-I want to go back in the hotel room and stay there, I don't want to explore Alola, it's too scary!" Stefan cried, "We've only explored almost half the region, why stop here?" Tyler asks, Seth went up to Stefan and comforted him. After he calmed down, the trio continued down Route 7, went through a long tunnel and find themselves in Route 8. Nothing happens until they pass by a trail. Seth simply said, "This only leads to someone in a trailer that resurects fossils. Nothing to see here."

Passing by a Pokémon Center and a motel, they find a jungle called Lush Jungle, which is once again another trial site. This time Stefan stays right next to Seth as the trio enters the jungle. Walking in the zone close to the entrance, Seth explains Lush Jungle, "This jungle is famous in the Alola region because it grows plants, such as herbs, and vegetal things that are perfect for cooking." Tyler then spots somethin that caught his attention, as he cried out, "Look!" He saw a wild Gossifleur, a Galarian Pokémon. "A Gossifleur? What is it doing here in Alola?" Stefan wonders, "Ah, looks like some Galar Pokémon are beginning to migrate to the Alola region," Seth said.

It's at this moment where Seth hears some footsteps and some leaves rustling, before stopping right behind him. He asks the two Toxtricities, "Hey guy, can you give me a moment?" As both Toxtricities turned to face Seth to ash, "What?" Seth knocks out whoever snuck up behind him: A Totem Lurantis. "Okay, where were we?" Seth sarcastically asks.

Getting out of Lush Jungle and go down the road, the trio finds themselves back in Paniola Ranch, and decided to back to Heahea City. But the journey through Akala Island does not stop here. After entering the city from Route 6, Seth guides the two Toxtricities right, and lead them in a cave simply called Diglett's Tunnel. After going through the tunnel, the trio ends up in Route 9, a short route that leads to one last city and Memorial Hill, which is Akala's cemetary. The trio decided to go to the city, which is Konikoni City.

Here they decided to have lunch at the City's restaurant. The restaurant has a wide variety of choices, but there's 4 big options called Z-Sets: The Meat, Fish, Vegetarian and Special Z-Sets, all are also called Turf, Surf, Veg and Local Z-Sets respectivley. hungry, the trio decided to order all four Z-Sets. Just as they finished ordering their feast, a tall woman wearing a light pink tanktop and magenta shorts came in, and greets the trio, as she knows Seth as the Champion's Salamence. The woman is Olivia, and she's the Kahuna of Akala Island. She decides to order the Local Z-Set and joins the trio to chat while the food is being made.

"So," Olivia asks Seth, "What brings you here?"

Seth answers "I've decided to bring my two friends from Galar here to explore the Alola region, since they're interested in the region-" he turns to Tyler, "...especially since someone is obsessed with Malasadas," to which Tyler slightly blushed.

Seth then says, "Oh, this is Tyler, the Toxtricity," and points to Stefan, "And this is Stefan, another Toxtricity. These Pokémon are from the Galar region." Stefan shyly covers part of his face.

"Oh don't be shy, Steffy, Alola's brilliance welcomes you," Olivia said,

"O-Oh?" Stefan timidly asks,

"Yep," Olivia answers, "plus, if any Pokémon, or Totem Pokémon ever attacks you, trust Seth,"

"Actually," Seth starts, "both Tyler and Stefan defeated the Totem Wishiwashi that's about to attack them,"

"Oh, how nice. I guess the champion raised both of you in his unique way as well," Olivia said,

"Apparently, a big Salazzle got on Stefan, and looked like she wants to keep him," Tyler said,

"Oh?" Olivia exclaims, "You okay Stefan?"

"Yeah... I don't know why she went straight to me. but we're away from the Volcano, and she doesn't know where I am," Stefan timidly said.

"Oh! Lunch is served!" Tyler exclaims.

Two waiters delivered the food, two Z-sets per waiter, the Turf Z-Set is pasta with meat sauce and a friend egg, the Surf Z-Set is battered fish with a fish soup, the Veg Z-Set is just a big bowl of salad with the dressing served at the side, and the Local Z-Set is... unique; a soup, a couple of fish fillet, some kind of meat patty and a small bowl of a grayish paste. Then Olivia's Local Z-Set also gets served as well. "This Right here! This is it!" Olivia said, "I may live on my own, but sometimes even I needed that familiar taste of home cooking. Dig in, you guys, before it gets cold!" While the trio took portions of the Turf, Surf and Veg Z-Sets and finds them delicious on their own, though Seth took the spicy fish soup for himself, the Local Z-Set is... not for them. Well, not for Stefan or Tyler at least, as the soup is sour, the fish fillet is full of little bones, the patty is really moist with grease dripping down the plate and the grayish thick paste doesn't taste of anything. Olivia finished her meal and said, "Ah... That was delicious. Maybe I need to find someone to cook for myself," Then she noticed that the trio finished everything except the Local Z-Set, "Oh? You two barely touched anything from this set! Local flavors not your thing?" to which Seth replied, "Yeah, it's an aquired taste for them. No worries, I'll finish those for them," and starts eating what remains of the set. Overall, everyone had a nice meal and Olivia bids them farewell as the gang returns to Hano Grand Resort.

Back in the Hotel room, Seth digs in the Thrifty Megamart paper bag and retreived a box of assorted Pokéblocks, "What's that?" Tyler asks, to which Seth answeres, "These, my friends, are Pokéblocks. They're chewy candy made from blending berrys, and are a staple specialty in my home region of Hoenn-" he then digs in the bag to get a pack of Lava Cookies, "... just like these cookies. Though many people assumed that these cookies are a staple in all of Hoenn, Lava Cookies are actually a speciality from Lavaridge Town."

Once again, the gang spend the rest of the day in the room, having dinner at the hotel's restaurant and readied themselves to go to bed.

Ready for the next day.

An Unbelievable tour in Ula'Ula Island

Today's trip is the Ula'Ula Island, Alola's biggest island, and once again, the trio took a ferry and landed on the island, specifically, Malie City, a city heavily designed by those who came from the Johto region. The first thing the trio checks out is the Malie Garden, which every locals say that you need to visit this place. The garden is pretty, and there's a golden bridge over a long body of water that resembles a gyarados.

However, before Stefan and Seth were about to exit the garden, Tyler is nowhere to be found in the garden. Then Seth has an idea where Ty went. He got out of the garden with Stefan following and yep I though so. Tyler was about to enter the city's Malasada Shop. "Oh hi, I saw something that caught my eye outside the garden," Tyler said. Seth convinces Tyler that he could eat Malasadas for dessert after they dined in the city's restaurant, which is right next door to the Malasada Shop. Tyler reluctantly agrees and the gang went next door, which is a restaurant called Sushi High-Roller.

Just like Konikoni City's restaurant, there's four big items, sets that are called Z-Kaiseki sets; Ninja, Samurai, Geisha and Ronin. Just like yesterday, the gang ordered all three sets at once. While they wait, Tyler worries about the quality of the food after experiencing the Local Z-Set. Stefan worries about the Totem Pokémon that would attack him. Soon enough, the food arrives. The Ninja Z-Kaiseki includes Chicken Teriakyi with pickled vegetables, the Samurai Z-Kaiseki has mixed vegetables that melts in your moutn and Musubi, which are spam sushi, the Geisha Z-Kaiseki contains paper-thin slices of meat with fruit foam and mashed fish soup, and the Ronin Z-kaiseki contains white rice, miso soup and more pickled vegetables. The verdict? Everything is delicious, not one dish was bad.

After the delicious lunch, the gang finally goes to the place Tyler has been waiting for, the Malasada Shop. the malasadas this shop sells are spicy red malasadas and bitter green malasadas. Tyler bought five of each and dragged Stefan to a table. Ty gives him one red malasada while he has two, but as soon as he bites in one, he cried out, "Oh, it's spicy! Hot! Hot! Hot!" Stefan didn't took a bite out of his because of Ty's reaction. "Do you mind if I could have your's" Seth asks who's next to Stefan, "Sure, take it," Stefan answers, to which Seth just eats the malasada. Tyler puts away both malasadas, inclusing one with a big bite on it. Though that doesn't stop him from trying a bitter green malasada, and... it's bitter, but it's an aquired taste.

After the stop at the Malasada Shop, it's time to explore this big island, and there's two routes connected, one south and one south-west. Seth choses the south-west route, which is route 10. The route ends at a bus stop, which has a bus that leads the gang up Mount Hokulani, where the Hokulani Observatory resides. The Hokulani Observatory, as Seth puts it, is basically a center that detects planets and things in outerspace. Then, he asks the two Toxtricities to look behind them. Stefan slowly turns around, thinking that it might be another Totem Pokémon, but instead, it's an even taller mountain with a magestic building on the top. "This is the Pokémon League of the Alola region," Seth begins, "The final ultimate trial once you beaten all the trials and grand trials in Alola, where you battle each Kahunas one by one and complete the Island Challenge. Though modern Pokémon League traditions are incorporated, thus the reason why that building contains the Elite four. Even though, our trainer completed it a handful of times, defending his trial." Stefan exclaims, "Wow, an Elite four?" Seth answers, "Oh yeah, there aren't an Elite Four system in Galar. Basically, the Elite Four is a group of four super strong trainers that you have to face against in a row before you battle the champion. You'll be able to battle them once you get all the gym badges, or in Alola's case, gotten all the Grand Trial stamps." Stefan replies, "...interesting." Then Tyler asks, "What's that mountain called?" Seth answers, "Mount Lanakila, I heard somewhere that it means 'Victory Mountain' just like a Victory Road in other regions," Stefan then asks, "Victory Road?" Seth then answers, "Oh yeah, Galar doesn't have a designated Victory road, well basically it's a challenging path on the way to the Pokémon League. I guess Galar's Route 10 from White Hill Station to Wyndon could count as a Victory Road, since you're on the way to the final area of the Galar League."

Tyler then says, "That's interesting and all, but when do we leave this place?" to which Seth answers, "Actually, this island is the biggest island in Alola, so how about we could fly to places, so we'll reach them very quickly." Both Toxtricities agrees and hopped onto Seth and starts to fly across the island. Passing by the island, Seth points Haina Desert underneath him, a weird desert that changes everyday, and decided not to land there. Though he will land on an interesting place: Blush Mountain, an area that houses the Geothermal Power Plant. Upon landin there, Tyler immedietly notices something purple in the tall grass; a Toxel. Apparently, Toxels had found their way here as they migrated to Alola.

The next place Seth flew the Toxtricities is a place called Tapu Village, which is the area that allows anyone to get into Mount Lanakila, though Seth doesn't feel like going there, but guides the Toxtricities on a beach with black sand. They walked along the beach untul they encounter what looked like another Thrifty Megamart, but abandoned. "Ah, the Ghost trial site," Seth says, "Let's go in," Tyler said. This sends a chill down Stefan's spine, as he says in a scared voice, "Yeah, y-you both can enter, there's no way I want to get in," Tyler then responds, "Come on, Stef, let's all go in," "N-No!" Stefan shouted, then Tyler grabs onto Stef's shoulder, he screamed, "NOO!!!!!" Seth steps in, "Ty, leave him be. He's clearly scared of entering a haunted building," he said in a stern voice. Tyler reluctantly leaves Stefan behind and the two entered the abandoned Thrifty Megamart.

The scene in the abandoned site: the mart is trashed about. There are no food items, though it's assumed that ghost Pokémon already ate them all, and all that's left are empty shelves. It's a gloomy place. "I know that this place would scare poor Stefan to death, I'm glad he's not here."

Meanwhile, outside, Stefan is enjoying the view of the ocean, but feels afraid of being close to the abandoned Thrifty Megamart. Suddenly, he hears "Kyu..." This once again sends a chill down his spine, he just kept on looking at the ocean, but is now shivering. Then, "Kyuuu..." his frills starts glowing, ready to counterattack just in case as he slowly turns around...

A Pikachu and a Mimikyu! A Mimikyu the same size as Pikachu... Because Stefan turned slowly, he didn't got himself scared by the sudden appearance of the ghost and fairy Pokémon, but he's still slightly less terrified. "Chu!" the Pikachu shouted, "Kyu!" the Mimikyu shouted. Thoughts are racing in Stefan's brain, "Is this a setup? If I chose Pikachu, Mimikyu would attack me. But Mimikyu is terrifying. What if I would pick it up and it would attack me with my guard down? What should I do??? WHAT SHOULD I DOOO?????!!! ...oh wait, I heard somewhere that Mimikyu tried to get attention so it would wear a rag that resembles Pikachu so it could be loved. Is this just a test? Is that Pikachu an illusion?"

After some hesitation, Stefan turned his attention towards Mimikyu, and slowly approach it. Suddenly, Mimikyu starts to approach it, causing Stefan to slightly flinch. Mimikyu got up to Stefan, and nuzzled up against him. Stefan slowly wraps his arms around Mimikyu. Surely, the Mimikyu should feel Stefan's racing heart. After the cuddling, Mimikyu jumps with joy, while the Pikachu dissapeared. Mimikyu bids farewell to Stefan, while leaving behind a Lansat Berry and a Starf Berry, two very rare berries, as well as a comet shard.

As Stefan picks the three things up, Seth and Tyler got out of the abandoned site. Seth notices Stefan holding the items, "Hey, where did you got those from?" he asks, to which Stefan answers, "I, uh... found them when I was looking around the megamart," "Interesting," Seth replied, "Anyways, ready to go to the next areas?" he then asks. The two Toxtricities hopped onto Seth and they all flew across the island.

Along the way, the two Toxtricities noticed a circular lake with a stone platform in the middle. Seth says, "This is the Lake of the Sunne, said to be a legendary lake that had ties with Solgaleo." Seth lands in front of a walled off area in Route 17. "This is the last area in Ula'ula, Po Town, the headquarters of the region's villan team; Team Skull. No worries, I'll protect all of you if they try to get you." Seth says, as he opens the door. As soon as he opens the door, two Team Skull grunts charged in and says, "Hey yo! You tryna step into our property?" "You numbskulls are either brave or stupid to try to take on us!" Seth steps in and emits a steel piercing glare, inducing terror in the grunts, causing all to scurry around like chickens to hide, while crying out "Run! It's the champion's signature blue dragon!" “Yo yo, that blue dragon is mad strong, that gaze could even pierce any skulls!”

As the two grunts scurry away, the trio suddenly hears a man saying, "Hey, what's going on?" They turn around and see a police officer with grey hair, black vest, black pants, a red shirt and sandals, "Ah, Nanu, I'm simply taking my friends to explore the Alola region," Seth responded, "Oh, you're the champion's Salamence. At least your friends are okay," Nanu says, "Yep, just give those numbskulls a glare and they run off," Seth says, "Alright, have fun, or whatever," Nanu says as he walks off. Tyler asks, "Who's that guy?" Seth answers, "That's Nanu, Ula'ula's Kahuna. Anyways, ready to go back in the hotel room?" The two Toxtricities agrees, hops on Seth and everyone flew back to Malie City to take the ferry back in Akala Island and went back to Hano Grand Resort.

Once again, the gang spend the rest of the day in the room, having dinner at the hotel's restaurant and readied themselves to go to bed.

Ready for the next day.

Keeping up the Pace in Poni Island

Today's trip is the Poni Island. Once again, the gang took a ferry to the Island. Though instead of landing on an island, they're on some wooden boardwalk. The place they're on is Seafolk Village, as Seth says, "This is Seafolk Village, a village where everyone lives in houseboats. A village that reminded me of Pacifidlog Town back in the Hoenn region." "Wow," Stefan says, "This is so cool!" Tyler points out to a Wailord boat, saying, "Where's a restaurant here, but no Malasada shops." Seth then says, "This is the only town in the entire island, the rest of the island is just wild lands. Since we're not hungry, want to explore the island? It's the smallest island in the entire region," both Toxtricities nod, got onto Seth and they flew around the island.

Seth points to one of Poni's three popular area; a canyon called Vast Poni Canyon. But Seth decides to skip the canyon and go straight to where the canyon ends: the Altar of the Moone; a Towering hunk of narrow rock, which honors Lunala. The sheer height sends a chill down Stefan's spine. Then, Tyler asks, "Uh... why is there a Kommo-o here?" The trio looks to where Tyler points, and there's a big Kommo-o, taller than everyone here.

Seth and the Kommo-o glares at each other, their claws starts to glow, as they both start to use Dragon Claw, and rushes towards each other, but just as the Kommo-o is about to strike, Seth strikes faster than it, and is barely more powerful than it. Seth's Dragon Claw knocks Kommo-o down the long stairs, and it tumbled down until it reached the bottom of the stairs. Even if Kommo-o managed to hardly take that hit, the repeated rumbling down the stairs is enough to knock it out cold.

Seth turns back to the two bewildered Toxtricities, "Anyways, we got the other half of the island to explore, then we'll go back to Seafolk to have lunch," Seth says, as he lets the Toxtricities climb on his back. Seth flies to show the last of the popular Poni locations: the Battle Tree, which is a battle facility, like the battle tower in Galar.

As Seth flies towards Seafolk village, he nearly forgot about one more place close to Seafolk, and decide to fly there. The place he shows to the Toxtricities is an island called Exeggutor Island. A paradise for Alolan Exeggutor. Seth only flies by the island while the Toxtricities watch as the Exegggutor sways happily. Then after that, Seth lands back at Seafolk village for lunch.

The trio then went to the restaurant. Basically the restaurant only specialises in noodles called Z-Noodles, and they come in four sizes: Normal, Large, Extra Large and Zumongous Z-Noodles. While Tyler was suggesting everyone each has a normal bowl of Z-Noodles, Seth got a brilliant idea and ordered one bowl of Zumongous Z-Noodles to share with everyone. The Chief remarks, "Ooh, I like that idea, well is this what you ordered?" Seth nods, the Chief then says, "Alrighty then! Order in! Nest of the tubby tapu! Soigné, if you please!!" Suddenly, a girl wearing a purple bonnet, light brown single-piece gardening outfit, dark grey boots and has two big black pigtails enters the restaurant, saying "I am famished!" The waiter then says, "Oh! If it ain't our little Hapu! Thanks for stopping by again today!" Hapu turns to the trio and says, "Ah, and here is the champion's Salamence. And his buddies?" Seth then says, "Hello again, Hapu, these are my two Toxtricity friends, Tyler and Stefan," Tyler and Stefan greets Hapu, though Stefan is shy. Then Hapu says, "A meeting by chance is preordained. We shall dine together! Chief! The usual for me and these three!" Then Seth told her, "Actually, we already planned on sharing a big bowl of Zumongous Z-Noodles for us to share," Hapu then says, "Oh how interesting! Alright Chief! Just bring me my usual!" The Chief then says, "We've got life in the dining room! VIP, coming through!"

The chief then brings everyone to a table in the VIP room, which is an open ceiling room. Everyone had a chat with each other as they waited for the food.

"So, Tyler and Stefan," Seth starts, "This is Hapu, the Island Kahuna of Poni Island,"

"Yep, I sure am!" Hapu says, "my grandfather used to be the Island Kahuna, but was recently deceased, and for so long, this island had no Kahuna,"

"I'm sorry for your loss," Stefan said,

Then Hapu said, "Then, until your trainer, who soon became champion, visited Poni Island, I was chosen as this island's new Kahuna, and he and his friend, Lillie, saw me getting my Sparkling Stone by the Tapu as I was chosen as the next Kahuna."

"That's amazing," Tyler said.

Soon, the chief comes with two really big bowls (1700 milliliters / around 58 fluid ounces) of noodles. The chef says, "Here you are! Fresh outta the kitchen! The dish is hot, so watch your hands." Hapu then says, "And here it is! When I am too busy working our fields to get a proper meal in, I always depend on the good folks here to help keep me fed. You sure end up with a mighty appetite after a pleasent bit of work!" Everyone digs in, with the trio sharing together the big bowl. The noodle soup? The clear soup has a light, refreshing taste, but also a certain richness to it. The thin noodles are slippery, but they have just the right amount of chewiness. Even the vegetables in it is delicious. And because everyone shared the bowl, there's just enough for everyone to eat.

Eventually, everyone finished their soup. Hapu says, "Phew... That hits the spot! And with just a little extra space to spare, too. It is not good to overeat, you know. That is why I like the portions here so well. And even if you had too much for one person, y'all are smart for sharing together." Because Hapu sells her vegetables to the restaurant, they let her eat for free. She also lets the trio have the meal for free.

After everyone part ways, the trio went to the ferry. However... Seth has one more surprise. Seth asks the ferry manager to go to Aether Paradise. This surprises both Toxtricities. Everyone boarded the ferry and it starts to go towardsa giant man-made building in the ocean.

An Amazing Detour at Aether Paradise

The ferry enters a futuristic-looking dock. Everyone got off and find themselves in a brillian white room. Tyler is amazed by the place, while Stefan is still shy as always. An Aether Foundation Employee guides everyone to an elevator which leads them to the first floor, where they're met by a woman with dark mauve hair, lavender glasses, wearing an all white outfit, though with a fuzzy lavender sweater underneath. She greets herself, "Welcome to Aether Paradise, everyone. My name is Wicke. What brings you here?" Seth then answers, "I'm here to give a tour of Aether Paradise for my friends here." Wicke then says, "Ah, you must be the champion's Salamence. Great, I'll go get the president so she could give you a tour around!" then went off to see the president.

Shortly after, a woman with big straight blonde hair comes in, and introduces herself; "Welcome to Aether Paradise. The Aether Foundation's own private island. I am the president of the foundation. But please, just call me Lusamine. I'm so glad that we got to meet. Are you all ready for a tour?" Everyone nods. Lusamine then steps in the elevator with them and presses on the elevator's buttons so it would go up another level: a very large single room area with boardwalks, greenery, water and some Pokémon. Lusamine then says, "This is the Conversation area. Aether Paradise is primarily designed for Pokémon conservation efforts." All the Pokémon here are seen as very happy, playing about. Lusamine then continues, "I will pour my love into protecting Pokémon and my children from pain... I will also try to be strong enough to watch over them without interfering from now on. That would be an even more beautiful kind of love, wouldn't you say?" She then turns to Seth, "I learned to think this way after watching your trainer, who became Alola's first champion." Seth nods in agreement.

When Evening comes, the trio decided to go back in their hotel room. Lusamine bids them farewell as they go back to the ferry, which brings the gang back to Akala Island. Once again, the gang spend the rest of the day in the room, having dinner at the hotel's restaurant and readied themselves to go to bed.

Ready for the next day.

Last Day

Today is the last day. Even though everyone did everything they could for the most part in Alola, Tyler wanted to try to do one more thing before he leaves; trying to get the Mythic Malasada. Now that he knows how to reach all the Malasada Shops in all of Alola, Seth let's him go on his personal grand trial.

Stefan now has a minor goal that surprises Seth: He wants to try the Local Z-Set once again, and try to finish it for once. Because Seth knew that Stefan would be scared when trying to go through Diglett's Tunnel, he flew him to Konikoni City and even joined him in the restaurant, and both ordered the Local Z-Set. Eating the soup, he doesn't find it that bad, and managed to finish it. He knows about the little bones in the fish fillet. He even squeezed much of the grease from the meat patty and, with the help of salt and pepper, is actually pallatable, and the grayish paste, also with salt and pepper, he managed to finish the entire Z-Set, with Seth being left impressed.

Meanwhile, Tyler went to Hau'oli City's Malasada Shop, and then Malie City's Malasada Shop. Even though he bought more Malasadas, none of them has the Mythic Malasada. Then he walked alone from Heahea City to Royal Avenue and visits the Malasada Shop. The lady at the counter greets him, "It's the miraculous munchy born in Alola! Welcome to your neighborhood Malasada Shop!" Suddenly, she says, "Oh, you do know how to spot a good deal, don't you!" This puzzles Tyler for one second, then the lady drops the bombshell; "That's right! We have in stock now the very malasada of myth: the Mythic Malasada!" His eyes widened, the lady then ask, "I assume you want some, hmm?" He then nods and says, "I want ten of those." The lady wrote the order and the mythic malasadas are being prepared.

After his order is complete, he's ecstatic to try one, so he sits on a table, grabbed one of the Mythic Malasadas, which to his surprise is purple, and took a bite.

The verdict?

It was blow your pants off delicious. It has a hint of spicyness, a hint of dryness, a hint of sweetness, a hint of bitterness and a hint of sourness. The taste is indescribable, but absolutely delicious. This is the best Malasada Tyler ever had.

Seth and Stefan went back to Hano Grand Resort, where Tyler just arrived. Stefan starts, "I managed to eat the entire Local Z-Set, and honestly, it wasn't as bad the second time." Then Tyler starts to tell the two about his finding: "I finally got my hands on a bunch of Mythic Malasadas. They're purple, and they have a hint of all the flavors; Spicy, Dry, Sweet, Bitter and Sour. I don't know how to describe it, but it's very delicious. I bought 10 of them, but I ate one, so I got 9 left. You all need to try!"

Then, someone who comes from Hano beach then said to the trio, "I heard that someone really loves Malasadas." The gang turned to the voice, and it's a Feraligatr. Seth cried out, "Bruce!" the Feraligatr cried out, "Seth!" Seth approaches Bruce while saying, "Hey, what's up man? We haven't seen each other for months! How ya been?" Bruce answers, "I've been doing great. Also I noticed you made some new friends in Galar," Seth then says, "Yep, meet Tyler and Stefan, the two Toxtricities that our trainer has." Both Toxtricities greeted Bruce, though Stefan is shy as usual. Bruce then asks, "What brings you here?" Seth answers, "Giving Ty and Stef a tour around the Alola region, especially because someone is obsessed with its local specialty." Bruce chuckled. The rest of the afternoon is spent with everyone walking along the beach while Bruce talks about how the first Journey he and Seth experienced in the Alola region. Even in the evening, Bruce joins the trio for dinner in the hotel's restaurant.

After dinner, Bruce bids farewell to everyone, with Seth reassuring him that they'll meet again some day. For the final time, the gang spend the rest of the day in the room, readying themselves to go to bed.

Ready go back home tomorrow.

Return Home

After having breakfast, the gang packs everything, including snacks to go home. After checking out of Hano Grand Resort, everyone flew back home. It's a lenghty fly, but eventually, they made it home.

Seth actually had fun during the trip, mostly because he's with his two friends, and he really learned more about them, especially Stefan. He never realized how fraidy he actually is, until this trip. Now he feels bad for him. He promises himself that he's going to make sure that Stefan feels safe.

Tyler has a load of Malasadas, all from the Alola region, which includes flavors that are not available elsewhere. It's a trip he's never going to forget.

Despite the scary moments, Stefan really enjoyed his trip. He felt safe when he's with his friends, even though one of them drags him in areas he doesn't want to. Even though he isn't harmed by Totem Pokémon, he managed to defeat one, loved one, and was targeted as a trophy for one. It's weird for him to admit it, but it's the best vacation he ever had. It's his first ever visit to the Alola region. And when he left, he bids the region... Alola.

The End
